Thej Singh, SLP.D, CCC-SLP

Dr. Thej Singh has been a licensed, practicing Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Connecticut for over 22 years. She is currently a school-based SLP in the Farmington Valley area working with elementary-age children. Dr. Singh is also an adjunct clinical faculty member at South Connecticut State University, where she supervises the learning and clinical experience of graduate student clinicians.
Dr. Singh has spent her career servicing children ages 3 through 18 as well as young adults ages 19-21, working on their communication skills in the areas of articulation/phonology, receptive language, expressive language, pragmatic and social language, stuttering, academically focused language-literacy skills including narrative language, and cognitive skills and Alternative and augmentative communication.
Dr. Singh enjoys fostering strong collaborative relationships with her families, to help facilitate language learning and communication growth at home. Although she has primarily worked in a school setting, Dr. Singh has also worked in private practice and outpatient rehab facilities. She has worked with a diverse range of communication needs including children with multiple disabilities, Autism, dyslexia, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, ADHD, hearing impairments, and other health impairments.
She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency, Connecticut Public License as well as her Professional Educator license.
She obtained her Master's degree from the University of Connecticut in 2003 and her doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Massachusetts General Hospital, Institute of Health Professions in 2024.
Dr. Singh grew up in South Africa and immigrated to the US in 2000 with her husband of 27 years. She has 3 daughters and 2 fur babies.
